Ten
activists from Penza and Petersburg have been in police custody for over
two years, accused of involvement in a “terrorist community” known as
the Network. They were subjected to torture with electrical shocks,
beatings, and psychological and physical coercion to force them to
confess. Their trials are coming to a close, but most of have denied
their guilt and demanded an investigation of their allegations of
torture. The defendants face sentences ranging from six years to
eighteen years in prison. The sentence will be announced on February 10.

The exhibition was created in Petersburg by the team behind Rupression.com,
which has been publicizing the Network Case in solidarity with the
young activists, who were brutally arrested and have been accused of
absurd crimes.
